  • Yes, the O2 levels are controlled and reduced somewhat to reduce the risk of a fire spreading... but not outside what is neccessary to support human life or not handicap the crew... which is, I believe, between 19.5 and 21...

  • If you have never had to "run one" how exactly do you know what is needed to do so? Your opinion on brawn not being neccessary would change very quickly after just the start-up... before the boat even casts off lines...

  • the missle boats are big... but that's to be able to hold the missles... Ships are easy to adapt because they are built up... subs are a tube that has all required equipment shoved in... then living requirements get to use the rest of the space...

  • That is how it is now. Look at it like a business... If you're employees work great under one condition but you'll end up firing a bunch of them if you introduce another situation into the mix without changing what the company makes... does it make any sense to do so?
